White Diamond also works with children through workshops. We have a strong link to the West End Stage and many of our programs have incorporated musicals. In fact the majority of instructors we use have worked or still work in the profession today.

We provide a unique workshop experience which immerses children and young people in to the world of theatre through singing, dancing and drama. We aim to provide an experience that will encourage expression and creativity. We also value the importance of physical activity and above all fun and enjoyment.

Through three disciplines - singing, dancing and acting, our experienced instructors teach the children to work independently as well as cooperatively to achieve personal success.

Our Instructors

All our instructors are West End trained professionals. They have performed all over the world in such shows as Singing in the Rain, Mary Poppins, A Chorus Line, Lord of the Rings, Grease, Chicago, Cabaret and many more. We are proud to say that many of our instructors work with such prestigious Academies as The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Royal Academy of Music and London Studio Centre.

Using the expertise of such performers coupled with their equally important teaching experience we can help children become more confident, encourage interaction and use the imagination which we see a decline in thanks to computers and television.

Theatre can be a tool to teach children what they lack in the classroom, whether it is confidence, self motivation or discipline. It can also help to facilitate an already successful student. We aim to help both.
